Dr. Heidi Horwitz received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington in June of 1983. After graduating, she opened her dental practice in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood.
Dr. Horwitz sold her general dental practice in 1999 when she decided to pursue further dental education and obtain her certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics at the UW School of Dentistry.
She completed Graduate Orthodontic training program at the UW School of Dentistry in 2001 and worked as an associate orthodontist for one year before opening her own specialty practice, Orthodontics for All Ages, located in West Seattle, in early 2003.
Dr. Horwitz firmly believes in providing a boutique style of treatment; and with the 17 years of experience in general dentistry prior to specialty training in orthodontics, she is able to apply all of that background knowledge and experience to each individual patient's requirements. Plus, having the one practice enables her to give undivided attention in one convenient location.
Dr Horwitz makes sure she is up to date on the latest techniques and education by staying active in the dental community. She currently is a member of the: Seattle King County Dental Society, Washington State Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Northwest Study Group, and the Seattle King County Dental Foundation. She is also a leader among her colleagues and holds office as president of the University of Washington Orthodontic Alumni Association Board.
